None of us at that time could have imagined that one day that game would become our passion and our "profession". At the foot of Mount Catria there is a small paese of 1000 souls called Frontone. The quiet of the place is broken only by the thousand scents of flowers and plants that surround the entire valley. Not far away is the Fonte Avellana, a place of meditation and silence that gives the journey the spiritual flavor of research. Our little house was protected by the Castello di Frontone, a border fortification that guarded the territory that the Romans crossed to reach the Adriatic and the last fortress of the Duchy of Montefeltro between the 14th and 15th centuries. A place rich in history and wonders, in the midst of which we played happily. Climbing the highest tower of the Castle, set in a magnificent setting, you could see the massive Monte Nerone up to the State of San Marino, on the opposite side your gaze darted to the blue of the Adriatic. After dinner, in the light of a huge yellow moon, we played on the Tower illuminated with flaming braziers under a sparkling starry sky.
