Food supplement based on folic acid and lady's mantle. For women of childbearing age, planning a pregnancy, folic acid supplementation is useful for increasing maternal folate status which, if low, is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus*; also contributes to the growth of maternal tissues. More generally, folic acid intervenes in the process of cell division, helps to strengthen the immune system, to reduce the tiredness and thefatigue and to maintain normal psychological function.
