The Royal Łazienki is the legacy of the last monarch of Poland, King Stanisław August Poniatowski. It was his summer residence. Now, Lazienki Park is Warsaw's biggest public park, and its most beautiful. Over the next 60 minutes we explore this incredible historical and natural masterpiece, uncovering its secrets, strolling its winding paths, seeing its sights, enjoying its calm and taking in its endless beauty. A Polish King who loved art and nature bequeathed us a place that is a gift and a delight to everyone who visits it, and one of the finest settings to learn the stories of old Poland. A romantic, landscaped park with four unique gardens, it was created in the 17th century. Its 76 hectares are almost in the center of the city. The famous Palace on the Isle - one of the most valuable historical buildings in Poland, houses the Royal Picture Gallery. Its alleys of beautiful trees, shrubs, flowers and art will take lead us through the Royal Garden, the Romantic Garden, the Modernist Garden and past some almost-lost history of the Chinese Garden. In summer, visitors to Royal Łazienki Park experience some of the best of European high culture. There are the summer concerts played by renowned pianists near the Monument to Chopin for more than 50 years now, and many other musical events in the park each Sunday from the beginning of May until the end of September. Try to make your tour coincide with one if you can. Deepen your enjoyment of the Royal Łazienki Park as you walk.
