If you can't get enough of massive robots battling colossal monsters, this is the sequel for you. Set a decade after Pacific Rim, Uprising stars a new batch of Jaeger pilots fighting a new kind of Kaiju. John Boyega plays Jake Pentecost, whose father Stacker was killed while saving the world from giant monsters that came through an interdimensional portal. After the loss of his father, Jake turned into a delinquent - until a new and even more sinister danger appears. With humongous monsters tearing through the world's cities, Jake joins the Pan Pacific Defense Corps, a brave band of mech pilots who are humanity's last chance at salvation. While Uprising features a winning cast of young actors and a solid story, the over-the-top robot vs. monster battles steal the show.
