GOLDEN FLEECE The myth of Jason and the Argonauts inspired the artist to create this sculpture.  Of course, it makes no sense to look for the outlines of a ship in it, or literally — the Golden Fleece. The sculpture is a collective image embodied in the wood by the craftsman. See how the surface of the tree is originally processed. The sculptor was working with a chisel as an artist works with a brush to create this work of art.
