EDELWEISS The source of inspiration for this work was the flower of Edelweiss. The fragile and delicate flowers of this plant can be found only in high mountains. It symbolizes inaccessibility, strength and vanquishment. The artist embodied its beauty in a wooden sculpture. The master preserved the natural texture of the wood and the color of the surface. The asymmetric contour and petal rays with a through hole in the center perfectly emphasize the wonderful power of this plant.
