RAIN SEASON The source of inspiration for this sculpture was water, namely steep streams and noisy waterfalls during the rainy season. The sculptor endeavored to embody the very essence of the rain, which falls like a column from the sky and covers the island. The artist used a gradient of beige, ocher and greenish tones to convey the feeling of a tropical downpour. The sculpture will look harmonic with other works from the master's Asian series.
