HISTORY ASPECTS:The F-5N Tiger II tail number 761572 was a key asset of the U.S. Marine Corps VMFT-401 "Snipers" in 2018 stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma Arizona. As a former fighter aircraft of the U.S. Air Force the F-5N was extensively refurbished and repurposed by the Marines for adversary training. The F-5Ns lightweight and agile design combined with its ability to simulate enemy threats made it a crucial tool for honing the combat skills of U.S. Navy and Marine Corps pilots.
