The Myler Loose Ring with 14mm Low Port Comfort Snaffle Wide Barrel (MB 04, Level 2) is ideal for starting a younger, unexperienced horse or re-training a mature horse. The 14 mm mouthpiece is thicker at the bars to ensure enough surface area at the lips, and the center barrel rolls on the tongue to create pressure. The mouthpiece has a slight port to allow some relief for your horse's tongue.  It also collapses into a "U" shape and has a slight curve to prevent your horses's lips and bars from being pinched.

The Basics: 14mm stainless steel Loose Ring with copper inlay to increase salivation. 

Direct Action Bit: Loose Rings are not fixed to the mouthpiece and are considered direct action bits meaning any pressure applied to the reins is equally applied to your horse's mouth.


Level Up: Myler's unique "level" system means there's a bit for your horse no matter their training. Level 2 mouthpieces generally give a more relief on the tongue and the curved mouthpiece collapses into a "U" shape to avoid pinching of the lips and bars. Ideal for a moderately trained horse.  


Independent Side Movement: Each side of the bit can move on it's own meaning more control and clearer communication between you and your horse.
