The concept of this picture came to me when I watched a stormy sky above a forest on the lake. Stormy clouds scattered and a stripe of the bright clear sky appeared above the treetops. This sight captured me and I was ready to convey my impressions on canvas. I chose colors similar to the real for this dramatic scene. I used thin brush strokes and various techniques to make the surface of canvas unique. The dark horizontal stripe of brush strokes in the middle of the canvas symbolizes the forest reflected on the lake surface.
