HISTORY ASPECTS:The F-15C Eagle is a highly advanced fighter jet that has been used by the United States Air Force (USAF) for over 40 years. It is a formidable aircraft designed for air superiority and has a long-standing reputation as one of the best fighter jets in the world. The 493rd Fighter Squadron known as the "Grim Reapers" has been one of the most prominent users of the F-15C Eagle having flown it for over three decades.The F-15C Eagle has been used in several conflicts including the Gulf War where it played a critical role in air-to-air combat. It was also used in Operation Northern Watch enforcing the no-fly zone over Iraq and Operation Noble Eagle protecting the skies of the United States after the 9/11 attacks.
