HISTORY ASPECTS:In 2008 the F-16AM Fighting Falcon aircraft of the Royal Netherlands Air Forces (RNLAF) 313 Squadron played a critical role in supporting coalition forces in Afghanistan. Tasked with providing close air support reconnaissance and aerial escort missions the F-16AMs were instrumental in countering insurgent threats and assisting ground forces in their efforts to maintain security and stability in the region.
