Kenilworth Through the Eyes of a Child

Kenilworth Through the Eyes of a Child

Kenilworth Through the Eyes of a Child

This tour was created by students at Cedar House Prep School, as part of their school curriculum. What could possibly be of interest in a sleepy corner of suburban Cape Town? You may be surprised! Let a group of feisty middle-schoolers guide you through their neighbourhood. They’re keen to show you some of the hidden gems of this area while sharing some fascinating historical facts. Expect to see stately old villas, South Africa’s oldest horse racing track, two progressive schools and buildings designed by legendary architect Sir Herbert Baker. Take a relaxed stroll through the quiet streets of Lower Kenilworth and let the kids open your eyes to things you’ve never spotted before.
