The aliens are back, and they are not here to play. It's been 20 years since the original invasion was stopped, and the monsters have been gearing up for a rematch ever since. This time, they show up in an alien ship that is 3,000 miles wide. The ship latches onto Earth and begins draining our planet of precious resources. This does not sit well with the ex-president (Bill Pullman) or alien-defense expert (Jeff Goldblum). They quickly gather a crew of Earth's most daring hotshot pilots and hackers to try to stop the alien menace. Along the way, we get UFO vs. jet fighter aerial battles, the destruction of some of Earth's most iconic landmarks, and enough humor to keep everything flowing along nicely. It's a big, loud, brash movie - the perfect summertime popcorn flick.
