HISTORY ASPECTS:The Sd.Kfz. 138/2 Jagdpanzer 38 "Flammhetzer" was a specialized variant of the iconic Hetzer tank destroyer developed by Nazi Germany in the final stages of World War II. Unlike the regular Hetzer which was equipped with a 75mm anti-tank gun the Flammhetzer was fitted with a flamethrower designed to target enemy infantry fortifications and other soft targets. This vehicle was part of the German Army’s attempt to counter the overwhelming numbers of Soviet and Allied forces by introducing innovative weaponry.
