\nHISTORY ASPECTS:The Sturmgeschütz III (StuG III) Ausf. G an early production model became a pivotal asset for German forces during World War II. Initially designed as an infantry support vehicle the StuG III evolved into one of the Wehrmacht’s primary tank destroyers. The Ausf. G introduced in late 1942 was equipped with the powerful 75mm StuK 40 L/48 gun and additional armor plating.
