The first perfume in our collection was conceived in memory of the origins of the Frapin family, who settled in Charente in 1270, and was inspired by the grape variety from which a tempo used to distill cognac, which has now been replaced by Ugni Blanc: the Folle Blanche. Folle means crazy, and indeed, with its cornucopia of gourmand aromas, 1270 is madly exquisite, to the point where you can't decide whether to drink it or spray it on your skin. In French, white is blanche, and yet 1270 is anything but pure: its range of warm shades runs from the gold of pineapple to candied orange and amber resins, from the purple of plums and the rust of hazelnuts to the toasted brown of cocoa and coffee.
