Welcome to the historic city of Derry/Londonderry. This walking tour focuses on pivotal moments in the city's history, including its emergence as a shipbuilding hub, emigration to North America to escape the Irish Potato Famine, and the role of its port during World War II. We’ll start at Peace Bridge and walk along the River Foyle to the quayside emigration sculptures, before looping back to our starting point.
