Jagdpanzer V "Jagdpanther" was the best German tank destroyer of World War II and was designed on the chassis of the famous Panther tank. This huge vehicle was equipped with an effective and battle-proven 88mm gun, very good armor, and exceptional mobility. Production started in December 1943, with 392 units produced by the end of the war. Jagdpanthers first appeared in Normandy, and also fought in the Ardennes and in Germany. They appeared on the Eastern Front in late 1944 and fought against Soviet IS-2 tanks.
COBI’s model was developed in 1:28 scale and measures 34cm (13.25”) in length. The large size of the model made it possible to create realistic interior details and offers access to the removable engine under the service hatch. Additional details include the cannon, which can also be moved side-to-side, access via crew hatches and working tracks.
