The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is a USAF four-engine turbo-prop transport aircraft. Continuously upgraded and produced since 1956, the Hercules transport military equipment, goods, and soldiers over medium distances and can utilize unpaved runways. Extremely capable aircraft performing specialized tasks, more than 2,500 C-130 aircraft have been delivered to operators in 50 countries (as of 2015).
The COBI version, produced under license from Lockheed Martin, is designed in 1:61 scale with a wingspan of 70.5 cm (27.8”) and offers many features like rotating propellers, movable ailerons, opening cargo hold hatch and more. Access to the detailed cockpit with seats and avionics are provided. The set also includes a pilot figure that can be positioned in the cockpit.
