The Giant Raceway was the first AFX set to feature the Tri-Power Pack, which has been a huge hit. Its three power levels allow new drivers to learn progressively, reducing frustration and making racing more enjoyable. Switching levels is as easy as flipping a switch on the Pack. The levels work like this: Beginner mode keeps cars on track through 95%-100% of turns at full throttle, Intermediate mode keeps them on track through 60%-70% of turns at full throttle, and Expert mode lets you handle it all on your own.

The FN20 Advanced Power Unit delivers the same power as the original Mega-G while being lighter, smoother, quieter, more consistent, and using 33% less energy. The chassis is up to 30% lighter than any other HO chassis and 5% lighter than the original Mega-G, making it much more enjoyable to drive. Its low and narrow design allows for more realistic bodies, while the redesigned pick-up shoes are stronger and ensure consistent power.
With the lowest center of gravity among competitors, the chassis corners better than any other. It also features the longest wheelbase available for better-proportioned bodies. The exclusive extra-long tapered guide pin, unique to AFX, keeps the car in the slot longer. Level 30 Neodymium ground effects magnets keep the car glued to the track, and the Nylatron material ensures the chassis is strong and durable. High carbon power unit brushes last much longer than composite brushes, and the new redundant power transfer system maintains a consistent power supply to the motor, enhancing durability and drivability.
